It always chaps my hide when people refer to the flesh that comes out of women during their periods as "clots". Here's a look at what I'm talking about:

Cheerfully Padded

We did manage to get a shoot in on the first day of my period after my cramps subsided, and I'm so glad because I *love* upskirts and I know that maxi pad fans will really like this gallery of 122 pictures:

Started

My period started today.

Not the happiest thing to feel/see/experience when I hoped I was pregnant, but after a good cry, some comforting from Delia, and eating some treats with hot tea, I'm okay.

I'd swear that my flow is heavier right off the bat than it has been in years, but who knows. I'm taking pictures of my spots, stains and leaks for a gallery and documentary purposes, and I have to admit that in spite of the disappointment, my body feels really good. A bit crampy, but nothing horrid. I feel warm and healthy and I can't help forgiving my womb and reminding myself to trust my body's wisdom.

I just put on a huge Kotex. For comfort as much as for absorption.

To reassure you that I'm still shooting bloody content, here's a little pad bulge for you:



Tucker shot that photo of me in bed just a few days ago. Yes, that is a blood-stain/streak on my panties. If you wonder how it got way up/over there, you've obviously never menstruated.
